Where to Buy Curtain Rods in Dubai
You can find curtain rods almost anywhere in Dubai. The hard part is getting the right length, strength and finish, and then getting it on the wall properly. Here is how the main options compare.

Five checks before you buy
1. Measure the full width you need
Window width plus 15 to 25 cm each side. Standard sets come in 2, 3, 4 and 5 m. If your wall needs 3.4 m, a 4 m extendable rod or a track cut to size is better than a rod that stops short.
2. Match the diameter to the curtain
Sheers: 19 mm is fine. Lined or blackout: 25 to 35 mm. Heavy velvet or 3 m drops: 35 to 50 mm.
3. Count the brackets
Cheap sets often include only two. Anything over 2.4 m needs a centre support.
4. Check the wall or ceiling
If you have a gypsum ceiling or want curtains from the ceiling, you need a track, not a rod. A rod needs a wall.
5. Think about how you will open it
Tall windows and heavy fabric are easier with a wand or a cord-operated track, so you never pull the fabric itself.
